I've been trying to get NFS Carbon to run on my Windows 10 PC. I installed the game using the CD my dad bought years ago, and I also installed the widescreen fix and v1.4 patch. The last thing I need to get the game running is a no cd-crack/patch, but all the sites that claim to have the file are super sketchy, and none of the files work. NFS Carbon Crashes on bootup on Vista with the patch 1.3 installed due to an allocator mismatch between bware and renderware. Patch 1.4 fixes the Vista crash by fixing the mismatch. NFS Carbon.viv (EA Link version) crashes upon bootup on Vista due to an incompatible version of the PACE DRM Tool. But whenever i go to NFS Heat video that is about the BMW M3 GTR, some people think that is not the M3 GTR sound. This got me laughing, cuz in MW 2005 the BMW uses TVR Cerbera's engine. The gear while can only be heard inside. Not outside of the car. My guess Heat gets it correctly, but most people still argues about the engine sound.
